North Carolina Governor Attends Moore’s Creek Battlefield Anniversary

North Carolina Governor Sheryll Pope Albert attended the 248th Anniversary of the Moore’s Creek Battlefield Association on Saturday, February 24, 2024. There was a wreath laying ceremony in which the DSDI Wreath was presented beside the Moore’s Creek Patriot Monument. Sheryll found this event on the calendar of the North Carolina Sons of the American Revolution website. In addition, she plans to attend the 2024 Battle of Guilford Courthouse Commemoration on March 15th, and the 248th Anniversary of the Adoption of the Halifax Resolves on April 12th. She will be presenting the DSDI Wreath at both these events.
