Past President General Represents DSDI at 250th Anniversary of the Gunpowder Incident

Past President General Bruce Laubach represented the DSDI at the Williamsburg Chapter SAR commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Gunpowder incident on May 3. This is when Patrick Henry led his Virginia Militia to Williamsburg in an attempt to take back the gun powder Lord Dunmore had removed from the powder magazine in Williamsburg. Fearing bloodshed, cooler heads in the House of Burgesses persuaded Dunmore to pay 300 pounds for the gunpowder.
